[La Prensa, ] Business Initiative Directions (BID) announced the selection of Ballet Folklórico Oro Lenca de Honduras, to receive the "IDB, Gold category" award, which will be presented during the International Quality Convention to be held on March 17 and 18 in Frankfurt, Germany.

[RCG Radio y Televisión, ] Saltillo, Coahuila, Mexico. Ballet Folklórico Oro Lenca of Esperanza, Honduras, arrived in Saltillo for the International Festival on the occasion of the 438th anniversary. Around 9:00 at night and with an audience of more than 600 people, the Plaza de Armas was dazzled by the more than 12 dancers who, to the rhythm of Honduran music, delighted the attending public.

The Embassy of Honduras in the United States celebrated the festival “Juntos por Honduras 2013” to commemorate the independence day of independence of Honduras. Children and young people participating in folk dance groups from various regions of Honduras met in the fresh airs of the city of La Esperanza, Intibucá, to participate in the third edition of of the folklore festival, El Grande de Grandes.

The meeting served to read, directly from national gazette, the congressional decree declaring La Esperanza as the National Capital of Honduran Folklore and officially designated the festival El Grande de Grandes to occur on the last Saturday in July of each year.
[El Heraldo ] Gustavo Banegas. The group from La Esperanza, Intibucá, departed among artists invited to the international festival Juntos por Honduras in Washington, D.C. Once again, the group raises the folklore dance of Honduras to a place of high honor.
[El Heraldo, ] Washington, Estados Unidos. The flavor of the Honduran culture was the epicenter of the festival for the 191st anniversary of the Independence of Honduras. Hondurans enjoyed the music of the folk dance groups Oro Lenca and Raíces Hondureñas.
[Honduras Tips, ] The Intibucan Artistic Company (La Compañía Artística Intibucana, CAI) was founded in 2004 to infuse art and culture into the region of La Esperanza, Intibucá. The project developed successfully until 2006, when the project was suspended for reasons unrelated to the organization. This is how in 2009, Johann Seren Castillo, formerly a member of CAI, resumed the project by founding the folklore ballet Oro Lenca.
